ALTA has published their Principals of Fair Conduct. It appears to be a good start. Let me know what you think. My thoughts to follow.

Are you sure this was published by ALTA? There sure are lots of typos.

Well, okay.
ALTA – I am sorry, but this is too little and it’s too late.

I have to agree with Diane here. It is far too little and far too late.
I’ve seen far too many ethical and professional small independents get run over by crooked and corrupt title agencies with little to no action taken against them.
Small independent agents have been yelling about these problems for years. But no one really seemed to care when the little guys were taking the hit.
These “principles” are nothing more than a pr smokescreen.

I agree with Diane. Doesn’t ALTA have spell check. This is like one of my children apologizing for raiding the cookie jar. Too little, too late! Thanks, Fran
